Between the conferences and 1:1 mentoring, Y2 has helped many teens and pre-teens. Across the 3 Y2 Entrepreneurship Conferences, more than 200 students and 80 volunteer entrepreneurs have participated. Students have came from more than 40 different high schools from across the Greater Toronto Area, York Region, Durham Region, Oakville, Guelph, and London; and volunteers have come from Greater Toronto Area, York Region, and Durham Region. Hear what some of the participants have said about their Y2 experiences!
Several teams have continued to work on their businesses, and some of them have won funding and other competitions:
Check out Candy Cutlery who recently just got featured on Betakit for winning SAGE Nationals, and is heading to Ukraine to compete later this summer!
Wish them the best of luck!
In addition, Y2 has mentored several teams who did not participate in the conferences, including the Classy Cyborgs, Creativity Through Arts, the St. Augustine Catholic High School Business Council, and the 2017 FIRST LEGO League Champion's Award winner Ctrl-Z.
