And they have the passion to tackle some of our most pressing issues. The Y2 Conference challenges them to put their creativity to the test by using design thinking to solve real-world problems, while preparing them for the future.
Finalists included: Lydia’s Closet (app to allow friends to share photos, buy, sell, and exchange clothing) and Proxi-Meet (platform that identifies potential meeting places in between two locations).
Finalists included SchedulAI (whose app would help high-school students manage their time by bringing together all of their different calendars and to-do lists) and Re-Pack (whose service would provide reusable takeout containers to restaurants and pick up used containers from customers for washing and sanitizing).
Finalists included Eco-Aux (whose idea was a filter that converts car emissions into baking soda) and Willpower (whose app would help youth manage the amount of time they spend on social media).
Finalists included: WeTranslate (a device that tackles language barriers through technology) and EduFlow (revolutionizing the way students learn through altering the working environment).
Finalists included: DEX (add-on desk that allows for movement) and Aline (an application that helps eliminate the struggle of creating plans with your friends with conflicting schedules).
Finalists included: REMwear (t-shirts that allow for temporary design and removal) and Enertire (captures clean energy in a transportable battery as car tires rotate).
